Indian Super League (ISL) club Odisha FC right winger Rahul KP is set to play for Premier League side West Ham United FC in The Soccer Tournament (TST) 2025 event. Following the conclusion of the 2024-25 ISL season, the 25-year-old has been offered a unique and prestigious opportunity to don the iconic Claret and Blue colors.
The tournament features a $1 million, winner-take-all bracket for men and a $1 million, winner-take-all bracket for women. The men’s bracket will feature Pat McAfee’s CONCAFA SC, Hope Solo’s Solo FC, West Ham United, Atlético de Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Club América, AFC Bournemouth and several other teams.

The former Kerala Blasters FC winger will be representing the Hammers in their return to The Soccer Tournament. He will be representing West Ham United, who are bringing their competitive edge and Premier League pedigree to the 7-a-side showcase.
The 2025 edition also marks the Hammers’ return to the tournament following their involvement in the inaugural event in 2023. It will feature teams representing 13 countries and 12 prominent European and North American professional teams.

A golden opportunity for Rahul KP to shine on the international stage
The tournament presents a wonderful opportunity for Odisha FC winger to showcase his talent amongst some of the former legends of the game. Players like Carli Lloyd, Hope Solo, Ali Krieger, Luis Nani, Miguel Layún, Sergio Agüero are set to play in Cary, North Carolina on June 4 to June 9, 2025.
TST’s men’s bracket splits up its 48 teams into 12 groups of four. West Ham United will be part of Group G with clubs like Villarreal CF, Tenfifteen FC, and Brown Ballers FC. It is a golden opportunity for Indian football and Rahul KP to give a good account of the talent on a global stage.
With the exciting 7-a-side tournament expected to start in early June, all eyes of the Indian footballing community will keep a close eye on West Ham United and notably how Odisha FC’s Rahul KP fairs in the tournament.
