RCB defeated LSG by six wickets in the 70th match of IPL 2025.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) hosted Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the match No. 70 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The RCB vs LSG clash took place at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
RCB defeated LSG by six wickets in the encounter. RCB had a gigantic total of 228 runs in the clash. RCB opener Virat Kohli slammed a half-century of 54 runs. Later, Jitesh Sharma smacked a stunning knock of unbeaten 85 runs to drive RCB to a stunning victory.
Earlier, RCB skipper Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. LSG skipper Rishabh Pant slammed a stunning century (118*) in the 1st innings. Mitchell Marsh also slammed 67 runs as LSG ended with 227/3 on the scoreboard.
IPL 2025: Updated points table
LSG vs RCB was the last league match of IPL 2025. After the match No. 70 of IPL 2025, LSG have finished in the seventh spot in the points table with 12 points. Punjab Kings (PBKS) and RCB have ended with the top two spots in the points table with 19 points each. They will clash in the Qualifier 1 match.
Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have finished the season in the third and fourth spots, respectively. They will wrestle in the Eliminator. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) finished in the last two spots in the points table.

Suryakumar Yadav (640) holds the third spot.
