The Money in the Bank cash-ins have been incredible sights to witness.
WWE Money in the Bank is rapidly approaching as the Premium Live Event is set to take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, June 7th. The night promises to alter the careers of two superstars who would climb the top of the ladder and retrieve the briefcase with the golden opportunity.
The MITB contract has changed the lives of many rising WWE superstars if they have been able to cash it in successfully and win World Championships. With the PLE coming up, here is a look back at the top five Money in the Bank cash-ins of all time:
5. Kane
Amidst his quest to find The Undertaker’s mystery attacker in 2010, Kane competed in the Money in the Bank ladder match at the namesake pay-per-view.
The Big Red Monster climbed the ladder and unhooked the briefcase. In a shocking turn of events, Kane came out later that night and cashed it in on the World Champion, Rey Mysterio, after his title defense.
He made quick work of Mysterio and won the title, becoming the first man to cash in the Money in the Bank contract on the same night they won it.

4. Alexa Bliss
Seven years after Kane created the first-ever history, rising WWE star Alexa Bliss decided to follow in his footsteps.
The Twisted Bliss won the Money in the Bank ladder match at the start of the show. Later that evening, she cashed in on an ongoing match between Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax for the RAW Women’s title. Bliss took advantage of a weakened Jax and became the new champion in mere moments.
3. Edge
The man to start the trend of opportunistic Money in the Bank cash-ins was the inaugural winner, Edge. He won the coveted contract in a ladder match at WrestleMania 21.
The Rated-R Superstar waited for close to 280 days and picked his chance right after John Cena survived a gruesome Elimination Chamber match. A timely cash-in followed by two spears led to Edge winning his first-ever World Championship in WWE.

2. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler won the Money in the Bank from the SmackDown side in 2012. On the RAW after WrestleMania 29, The Showoff chose to cash in his contract after Alberto Del Rio survived a match and was barely able to stand.
Ziggler’s entry garnered a huge pop and was even louder when he executed the Zig-Zag on Del Rio to win the World Championship in memorable fashion.
1. Seth Rollins
Perhaps, there is no doubt that the greatest Money in the Bank cash in belongs to Seth “Freakin” Rollins. He won the golden contract in 2014 with the help of Triple H and The Authority.
Months later, Rollins picked the perfect spot and chose to cash in his MITB opportunity in the main event of WrestleMania 31 between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
He stomped Reigns’ head into the mat and pinned him to win his first-ever championship, which has been billed as ‘The Heist of the Century.’
