The Brazilian player recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Bruna Biancardi, the girlfriend of Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr, has shockingly acknowledged that the two are “already married on paper.”
Neymar acknowledged getting back together with his ex-girlfriend Bruna towards the conclusion of the previous year. Despite accusations of adultery, the couple is currently expecting their second daughter together.
Neymar brushed off rumours that he was getting married a few months prior. But now, Bruna has made the outrageous claim that she is already wed to Neymar. When asked about a potential wedding to the Brazilian superstar in an Instagram Q&A, Bruna replied:
“We are already married on paper.”
The model gave birth to a girl, Mavie, in 2023. Neymar and Biancardi have one child together. The Brazilian player has frequently referred to Bruna as his “wife” even though they are not legally wed.
The 33-year-old tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently out of action. When Brazilian football returns following the Club World Cup next month, he is scheduled to make his comeback.
His club, Santos, said in a statement:
“With a viral condition that began on Thursday (June 5), Neymar Jr. underwent laboratory tests, after evaluation by the Medical Department of Santos FC, which confirmed infection by Covid-19.”
“The player had already been away from activities since Thursday, when he began showing symptoms, and remains resting at home and undergoing symptomatic treatment, as determined by a doctor.”
The attacker earlier tested positive for the virus in May 2021 while playing for Paris Saint-Germain. This one is marking his second infection. He had returned to training “extremely happy” following four months of recuperation.
Neymar, 33, has suffered a decline in his form since leaving the French team in 2023. He is currently playing for Santos, his boyhood club.
He is Brazil’s all-time top scorer with 79 goals for his country. But his career has been severely cut short by injuries. He was stretchered off with an injury during a 0–2 loss to Uruguay in October 2023, his final international game. The player hasn’t played for the national team since then.
