As we are getting closer to the Death Stranding 2 launch on June 26, 2025, the anticipation among the fans is growing a lot.

Will Death Stranding 2 arrive on PC?
For now, Death Stranding 2 is exclusive to PS5 upon its release. This is pretty much similar to the original PS4 release on November 8, 2019, before hitting PC on July 14, 2020.
Although for now, neither Hideo Kojima nor Sony PlayStation has confirmed a PC version.
The original PC release, followed by the successful Director’s Cut on Steam and the current Xbox Series X|S release on November 7, 2024, demonstrates Kojima’s dedication to multi-platform releases.
Following the massive popularity of this series, there is no doubt that, sometime in the future, you can expect a PC port. I would say it might take 6-8 months to release on PC.
The exact date is unknown, as it is dependent on the length of the exclusivity agreement and whether PC development has started.
However, the original’s quick port and good sales indicate a possible Steam release.

I am pretty excited for Death Stranding 2 and strongly believe that this game is going to be a strong contender for GOTY 2025 and will compete with Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and other games.
Kojima’s weird and confusing storyline is truly working the magic this time and especially Elle Fanning, who is looking absolutely gorgeous.
