Absolute buy for souls fans!

Rush battle royale of constant action

We are just one day away from the release and Elden Ring Nightreign reviews are finally out and let me tell you, it’s bad.

The reviews and critics are saying that this game is too hard, bland and could be considered the first bad game from FromSoftware.

But in reality, this game is good and the best part is that it only costs $40. It’s absolute fun to go around with your friends on a hunt for the night bosses.

If you are playing alone, then that’s where the true Dark Souls experience will start for you. Let’s check out the review and why we rated 9/10 for this game.

Elden Ring Nightreign review: Amazing game with some flaws

This is a very genuine review and I will not be biased towards the Souls game or FromSoftware. This game is actually good and it also has many flaws in it.

It is not like any other FromSoftware game or like its predecessor, which are almost perfect games. Yes, it lacks depth, storytelling for lore, enemies and characters.

It is a kind of fast-paced battle royale where you are constantly sent to fight against the monsters and night bosses.

This is where the game truly lacks and many fans are somewhat right that this should have been a DLC.

However, for true Souls fans, this is also a perfect game where they could enjoy the difficulty of a Souls game along with friends, this time.

Multiplayer and Solo

Now, there is no duo option, which is a loss, but it has been said that we will be getting a duo option in the future.

You can play this game as a solo player or with two other friends or with randoms. The most fun you will have is with your friends.

So, if you don’t have any friends, randoms might really be a bad option to enjoy this. The true main boss this time is ‘Friends.’

But here comes the best part, which is to play solo. Now, I have read and watched major gaming sites, critics, and content creators’ Elden Ring Nightreign reviews.

Most of them have said that this game is hard if you don’t have any friends to play with. Solo mode doesn’t lower the difficulty, but it’s worth rewarding.

Let me ask you, since when have Souls fans been afraid of playing solo, or difficult situations stopped them from completing a Souls game?

The best part is to complete this game as a solo, that’s the true Dark Souls experience.

Elden Ring Nightreign review: Combat, classes, bosses and map

I am keeping my Elden Ring Nightreign review spoiler-free, so I won’t go into too much detail. It only has one map, which changes and shifts during different expedition nights.

This is also one of the best features of this game, where a volcano can erupt anytime, create a big crater and shift in the map and present you with unique bosses and enemies.

It does very well when it comes to combat, pretty similar flow, just like Elden Ring, so there are no complaints on that.

The new classes and pretty fun this time and you will have so much fun while completing the game with those. Every class delivers something unique and you can unlock more special skins for the class later on.

In the upcoming DLC and future planned content, we will also get two more new classes, night bosses, legacy content from previous Souls games, and possibly more cosmetics.

There isn’t very much lore or build-up present for the main bosses in the game. In comparison to Elden Ring, it definitely lacks in build-up and storytelling.

Final Thoughts

If this is your first Souls game and you don’t have anyone to play with, this game is not for you.

It will be difficult and if you are not into hard games and fast-paced battle royal action against monsters and bosses, this is definitely not for you.

However, for Souls fans, this is a must-buy game. It’s only $40 and you will finally experience a new Souls content. Playing with friends is another plus point for you.

Although it has many flaws and is not as perfect as the original Elden Ring, this game is still worth buying. Don’t think too much about the critics who say the game is too hard for its own good, they just need to get good. Most of them just really s*ck at playing video games, that’s all.

My final Elden Ring Nightreign review score is: 9/10
