Three Brazilian sides have won the FIFA CWC title in the history of the competition.
Botafogo players are sweating it out in the training ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. They will begin the proceedings in Group B alongside Paris Saint-Germain, Seattle Sounders and Atlético Madrid.
The Brazilian side have arrived in the United States of America, where the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 edition is set to take place. Botafogo will take on the Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders in their first match of the mega competition. They will next take on the UEFA Champions League winners PSG, who are on a great run of form.
For their last group stage fixture of the FIFA CWC, they will face the LaLiga side Atletico Madrid. Botafogo are placed in a tough group. They have the potential to put up a fight against these teams, but they will have to deliver top performances to get through past the group stage of the continental competition.
The Brazilian Serie A side will be looking to give their all in this tournament.
The LaLiga and European giants Real Madrid are the record winners of the Club World Cup, winning the competition five times. They also have the most continental titles (15) when compared to the participating teams. Corinthians, São Paulo and Internacional are the only Brazilian teams to ever lift the FIFA Club World Cup title.
