The June 2 episode of WWE RAW served as the go-home show for MITB 2025!
The 2025 edition of Money in the Bank is right around the corner, but first, it was time for Monday Night Raw. The June 02 episode of the Red brand served as the go-home show for MITB and aired live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
In the first match of the show, Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile battled in a triple-threat match to secure the final spot in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Stephanie Vaquer won the match to secure the final spot in her first match since joining the Red brand roster.
After executing his plans to sway power in his favor, Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, along with JD McDonagh defeated War Raiders (Erik & Ivar), with a little help from Roxanne Perez. The show also continued on the Judgment Day storyline following the return of Liv Morgan last week and Roxanne Perez’s involvement.
Jey Uso teamed up with Sami Zayn to battle the team of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. However, the match ended in disqualification as Seth Rollins ambushed Jey, sparking a brawl which brought out CM Punk as Rollins and company retreated.
Furthermore, Kairi Sane defeated Raquel Rodriguez, humiliating Morgan second week in a row as her interference was thwarted by Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky. El Grander Americano secured the final spot in the men’s MITB ladder match by pinning AJ Styles, when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked Punk, crushing his MITB dreams.
After the match in the main event, a brawl broke out as Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, who came out to aid Punk, collided with Reed and Breakker. Seth Rollins also came in, but this time the numbers game played in their favor as they decimated the three. Rollins took out Zayn, Punk, and Jey with three back-to-back stomps.
Bronson Reed landed the final blow, delivering two back-to-back Tsunamis on Jey, Rollins and company stood tall with Paul Heyman to end the go-home show of Raw. During the 06/02 episode of Monday Night Raw, the promotion also announced a high-stakes match for the next week’s show.
The June 09 episode of the Red brand is set to air live from the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso is set to defend the title against Gunther in a rematch from WrestleMania 41 where Jey put Gunther to sleep.
The show will serve as the fallout show from Money in the Bank 2025 and will feature developments that will transpire on the PLE in California, this Saturday.
