Major exciting developments took place at SNME!
The May 26 episode of Monday Night Raw will be broadcast live from the Yeungling Center in Tampa, Florida. The show will feature developments from the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and will serve as the fallout show from the event.
SNME saw the return of Bronson Reed, who attacked CM Punk and aligned with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Fans also witnessed the return of Cody Rhodes, who returned to aid Jey Uso from John Cena while Jey was defending the World Heavyweight title against Logan Paul.
The Stamford-based promotion will also continue the build towards Money in the Bank 2025. Qualifying matches for the Money in the Bank ladder matches are set to continue this week on Raw, deciding the remaining participants for the men’s and women’s MITB ladder matches at the namesake PLE.
General Manager Adam Pearce has announced two triple-threat qualifying matches for the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match for this week’s show. Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Seth Rollins will battle to secure a spot in the match, while Dragon Lee, Penta, and Chad Gable will lock horns in the second MITB qualifying match.
Due to their interference in the number one contenders’ match, WWE World Tag Team Champions The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) are now set to defend the title in a triple-threat match against American Made (Julius & Brutus Creed) and War Raiders (Erik & Ivar).
A singles match between Alpha Academy’s Akira Tozawa and Rusev has also been announced for the show. Tozawa himself asked for the match from General Manager Adam Pearce last week and is now set to battle the Bulgarian tank as he looks to exact revenge for the chaos he has caused since his return.
