he promotion has announced multiple matches where top superstars, including John Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso, among others, will compete. Down below is a detailed preview, match card, timings, and telecast details for the May 24 edition of WWE SNME.

Matches confirmed for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event May 2025

  • Jey Uso (c) vs Logan Paul – World Heavyweight Championship match
  • CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker
  • Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena vs R-Truth – non-title match
  • Drew McIntyre vs Damian Priest – Steel Cage match
  • Zelina Vega (c) vs Chelsea Green – Women’s United States title match

Jey Uso (c) vs Logan Paul (World Heavyweight Championship match)

Since capturing the World Heavyweight title, Jey Uso has been a constant target of multiple challengers. However, none have targeted him quite as often as Logan Paul, the Maverick, has knocked out the Champion four times in the lead-up and has vowed to do the same come Saturday. This will be Jey’s second title defense since capturing the title at WrestleMania 41.

CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker (Tag team match)

CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Bron Breakker kicked off the May 12th Monday Night Raw show with a brawl, where initially Rollins and Breakker took control, but the numbers game was neutralized as Sami Zayn appeared, followed by Jey Uso.

The animosity between Rollins and Punk is well established, but the recent beatdown of Sami Zayn, who refused Rollins’ offer, has cost Seth, as now he faces severe opposition from the tag team. Punk and Zayn are set to battle him and Bron Breakker in Tampa.

Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena vs R-Truth (Non-title match)

R-Truth helped his “childhood hero,” John Cena, from getting a punt kicked in the head by Randy Orton at Backlash 2025; the interference ultimately helped him win the match.

However, Cena repaid Truth by putting him through a table during the post-show press conference. The two stars are now set to battle in a non-title match as Truth has vowed to beat Cena back to his senses.

Drew McIntyre vs Damian Priest (Steel Cage match)

One of the highly anticipated clashes at the May 24 edition of SNME is the Steel Cage match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. The two stars have zero concern for each other’s bodies and only know how to inflict damage. They will meet once again after their Sin City street fight at WrestleMania 41, as McIntyre and Priest look to settle this once and for all.

Zelina Vega (c) vs Chelsea Green – Women’s United States title match

During the May 23 episode of SmackDown, the promotion announced that Zelina Vega will defend the Women’s United States title against Chelsea Green.

The rematch was announced following Michin and B-Fab’s victory over the Secret Hervice (Piper Niven & Alba Fyre), where Vega aided Michin and B-Fab, thwarting Green’s interference. The impromptu match was set up following a backstage brawl involving the two parties.
