This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will serve as the fallout show from the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The fallout show is set to air live from Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Similar to the episode of WWE Raw, the promotion will feature developments from SNME and will continue developments towards Money in the Bank 2025. WWE has announced multiple matches and segments for this week’s show.

- Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax vs Naomi – Women’s MITB Qualifying match
John Cena & Cody Rhodes under one roof
Ahead of this week’s episode of the Blue brand, the promotion has confirmed that both John Cena and Cody Rhodes will make an appearance on the show. Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena is set to team up with Logan Paul to battle the team of Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso.
Andrade vs Jacob Fatu vs Carmelo Hayes – Men’s MITB Qualifying match
The promotion has also announced the fifth qualifier match for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Andrade, Jacob Fatu, and Carmelo Hayes are set to lock horns in Knoxville to secure the fifth spot.
Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, and Seth Rollins have qualified for the match and are awaiting the remaining two participants for the match on June.
Bianca Belair returns
Bianca Belair is also set to make her return following WrestleMania 41, where she not only suffered her first defeat in the triple-threat match for the Women’s World Championship but also injured her finger.
Belair aired in a vignette last week where she detailed how the past six months had been the most challenging of her career, and cheered to a new beginning, promising that her best was yet to come.
Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax vs Naomi – Women’s MITB Qualifying match
Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, and Giulia have confirmed their spot in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the namesake PLE next month.
However, there are still two spots left in the match; the fifth spot will be decided on this week’s show as Jade Cargill, Nia Jax, and Naomi are set to battle in a triple-threat match to qualify for the ladder match.
