Djokovic clinched his 100th title last week in Geneva.
Novak Djokovic registered his 99th win at Roland Garros, after defeating Filip Misolic in the third round. The Serbian has not dropped a single set so far, highlighting his dominance in Paris, even at 38 years of age. His upcoming round has a lot at stake, with not only a quarter-final berth up for grabs, but Djokovic has the opportunity to become only the second man to win 100 matches at the French Open, after 14-time winner Rafael Nadal.

Preview
A re-match of Geneva Open 2025 semi-final is set to take place, with Djokovic taking on a familiar nemesis, in the form of Cameron Norrie. The 24-time Grand Slam champion has never lost to the Brit in the past, emerging victorious on all five instances.
In Geneva, Norrie made things challenging for the Serbian, as he claimed the second set in an intense tiebreaker. However, Djokovic kept his cool to ultimately get the job done in the decider set. Earlier in Paris, Norie staged a huge upset in the first round of Roland Garros, taking down US Open winner Daniil Medvedev.
Djokovic has showcased his best form this season in Grand Slams and interestingly hasn’t lost a Grand Slam match in 2025 (he forfeited the semi-final of Australian Open against Zverev due to injury). Despite a poor Middle East Swing, and several early exits in ATP Masters 1000 clay events, Djokovic has risen to the party in Paris and will be hoping to extend his stunning outing.

Match prediction
Novak Djokovic holds the advantage heading into this round of 16 battle. He has served exceptionally well all tournament, and has come out on top whenever the opponent has put him under pressure. While he is known as the best returner the sport has ever seen, Djokovic will hope to reduce the number of unforced errors on the forehand, and execute better near the net.
Norrie has shown remarkable composure under pressure at Roland Garros 2025, but his poor head-to-head record highlights the challenges he has consistently faced against Djokovic. While the Serbian’s dominant campaign may face a test, given Norrie’s grit and resilience, the Brit could well snatch a set. However, Djokovic is expected to ultimately prevail.
Result: Novak Djokovic to win in four sets.
