Sheamus is all set to take part in the WWE King of the Ring 2025 qualifiers

WWE Superstar Sheamus recently turned to social media to hype his upcoming match on next week’s Monday Night Raw. The Celtic Warrior may have disclosed the identity of his mystery opponent, whom he indicated was the latest social media sensation, Mr. Iguana.

Following the triumph of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, WWE is preparing for another large event, Night of Champions, on June 28, 2025, in Saudi Arabia. The event will include the King and Queen of the Ring finals.

The tournament began with the most recent episode of RAW, and next week’s show will include a mystery opponent in Sheamus, Rusev, and Bronson Reed’s bracket. Adam Pearce may reveal the name of the mystery wrestler shortly.

Ahead of next week’s RAW, The Celtic Warrior took to X/Twitter to make a significant request of the Triple H-led creative staff.

The former United States Champion wants AAA superstar Mr. Iguana to be announced as the fourth member of his King of the Ring tournament bracket. Sheamus claimed in his post’s description that he would give all of his money to make this happen.

He wrote, “Take all my money”

Sheamus is a former King of the Ring winner

Sheamus is a four-time world champion & we can expect that his words are heard backstage in creative output. For now, WWE hasn’t confirmed whether Mr. Iguana is the mystery opponent or not, but one thing is for sure, WWE will likely try to capitalize on Mr. Iguana’s popularity.

Sheamus is the first Irish World champion in WWE history, as well as a three-time United States Champion and a five-time tag team champion (four for Raw and one for SmackDown) alongside his tag team partner Cesaro.

In addition to these championships, he won the 2010 King of the Ring tournament, the 2012 Royal Rumble match, and the 2015 Money in the Bank ladder match, becoming the second wrestler (after Edge) to win all three.
