5. Arjun Deshwal
Arjun Deshwal is one of the most successful raiders in recent years. He has scored 1174 raid points in his PKL career. Deshwal represented the Jaipur Pink Panthers and played a big role in helping them win season 9. He was the third-best raider in the previous season with 227 raid points in 23 matches, including 10 super-10s.
The Panthers surprised everyone by releasing him. However, the other franchises will surely be happy about his arrival in the pool. He could be one of the biggest buys in the auction due to his raiding skills and leadership abilities.
4. Naveen Kumar
Naveen Kumar is another big name in PKL when it comes to raiding. Naveen has scored over 1100 raid points in his PKL career. He debuted with the Dabang Delhi and has been an integral part of the franchise since 2018. This is the first time he will go in the PKL auction.
Kumar did not have the best season last year and was released into the auction pool. Regardless of his performance last year, he is a fantabulous raider, and many teams will certainly be going after him in the auction. Will Dabang Delhi use one of their available FBM card on him? 3. Ashu Malik
Ashu Malik is another big name on the auction list this time. He was also released by Dabang Delhi earlier. Malik was the second-best raider of PKL 11 with 262 raid points, including 18 Super-10s. This stat shows how lethal he can be on the court. He can snatch the match single-handedly on any given day.
Delhi had retained him for Rs 96.25 lakh in season 10 using the FBM card. Will they use the FBM once again?
2. Devank Dalal
Season 11’s best raider, Devank Dalal, had made the Kabaddi world aware of his raiding skills and talent last season. Dalal’s agility, power, reach, and celerity make him the best raider in the current lot. He scored 301 raid points last season. It was certainly a big decision to get him back into the auction pool.
There is no doubt that many franchises will aim to place the highest bid for Devank, however, the Patna Pirates can use the FBM card to get him back. He is going to be one of the biggest buys in the auction.
1. Mohammadreza Shadloui
Mohammadreza Shadloui, the name is enough. Over the last few years, he has become one of the top names in the world of Kabaddi. He was a brilliant defender, but with time, he has developed sharp raiding skills and has become a fabulous all-rounder, which we witnessed in the previous season.
He is the only player who has won the last two PKL titles, one with Puneri Paltan and the other with Haryana Steelers. In the previous season, he showed impressive performances and worked as the backbone of the team. Shadloui scored 82 tackle points and 57 raid points in PKL 11.
He always remains lightning fast on the mat, and the element of surprise in his style of playing makes him one of the best all-rounders in the game. One thing is certain that every team will make every possible effort to include this player in their team.
