Top three returns that could happen at WWE Money in the Bank 2025

The 2025 edition of Money in the Bank might pack multiple big returns!

The 2025 edition of Money in the Bank is right around the corner, and fans are unable to contain. The PLE will feature the two men’s and women’s traditional MITB ladder matches, which feature top names such as Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, LA Knight, Alexa Bliss, and Roxanne Perez, among others.

The 16th edition is set to air live on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Additionally, this will be the first MITB to stream on Netflix, and as usual, it will feature stars from both the Raw and SmackDown brands.

The upcoming PLE could feature several major returns. Here, we take a look at the top three stars most likely to make their comeback at WWE Money in the Bank 2025.

3. Saraya (Paige)

Saraya, better known among WWE fans as Paige, announced last month that she is no longer with AEW. The promotion recently removed her from the AEW roster page. WWE fans, along with Saraya herself, have discussed the possibility of her return to the WWE, and we might witness the return at the upcoming PLE.

The promotion has recently released multiple talents from the women’s division, which has left a void in the division, and Paige’s return could not only elevate the roster but will also create fascinating matchups with the current top stars.

2. Bayley

Bayley has been absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 41, where she was attacked backstage by Becky Lynch, who replaced her in the WWE Women’s Tag Team match against the Champions, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, alongside Lyra Valkyria. Lynch later turned heel, attacking Lyra after losing the title on Raw after WrestleMania and revealing that she was the one who attacked Bayley.

Lyra Valkyria is set to defend the Women’s Intercontinental title against Becky Lynch at the PLE, and Bayley might make her return to settle the score and kick off a feud with Lynch.

1. Roman Reigns

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE programming since Raw after WrestleMania 41, where he tried to confront Paul Heyman, who betrayed him to align with Seth Rollins. However, Reigns failed in his attempt as Bron Breakker ambushed him to align with Rollins and Heyman. Bronson Reed has also joined the faction, which has left CM Punk and Sami Zayn outnumbered.

Reigns might make his return to even the odds, kicking off a feud which could culminate in a colossal six-man tag match, possibly at SummerSlam 2025.

Can Roman Reigns set aside his differences with CM Punk to take down Paul Heyman and crew? Voice your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
