WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
Logan Paul – Gunther
Logan Paul stepped into the ring and announced that he would be the new World Heavyweight Champion by next week. Logan laid down some facts about Jey tapping out Gunther at WrestleMania 41 but was clearly irritated by the crowd’s constant “Yeet” chants. He reminded the fans that he won a WWE title 12 years before Jey Uso.
The Maverick then pointed out that he had knocked out Jey three times and would do it again this Saturday at SNME to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. But just then, Gunther made his entrance. The Ring General came face to face with Logan, and the “You tapped out” chants filled the arena. Logan joined in on the chants.
Gunther addressed Logan, saying that Paul seemed confident about beating Jey, someone who had already beaten him, which implied Logan thought he was better than Jey. The Ring General then praised Paul for his confidence, calling him a self-made social-media star. He suggested that he might learn a thing or two from him.
Logan interrupted, ready to teach Gunther, but the Ring General wasn’t finished. He floated the idea that Logan Paul as World Heavyweight Champion could be great for business. Paul, again impressed by the praise, was then told by Gunther that while it was business to Paul, it was deeply personal to him to defeat Jey. If Logan took that from him, Gunther would feel disrespected.
Gunther went on to say that Paul should ask Pat McAfee how he handles being disrespected by non-wrestlers, before cutting a promo stating that if Logan won at SNME, Gunther would “eat him alive” next month in the title clash.
Gunther walked off as Logan called out, asking if he was walking away from him. But before he could get an answer, Jey Uso appeared from behind and took out Paul with a superkick. Jey picked up the mic, stating that he would see Logan on Saturday and then added, “I’ll see you in Phoenix!” directing his words at Gunther.

World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso was walking backstage when he ran into Paul Heyman. The Wiseman, ever the strategist, gave Jey some valuable insight. He told him that everyone talks about how he betrayed CM Punk and Roman Reigns, but according to Heyman, a true betrayal is when the other party doesn’t see it coming.
Heyman then reminded Jey that he would be facing Bron Breakker soon and, while he rarely negotiates non-title matches, sometimes he makes exceptions. He continued, saying that whether it’s Jey, Logan, or Gunther, the long-term plan for the World Heavyweight Championship always pointed to one man: Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
AJ Styles & Penta vs Finn Balor & JD McDonagh
In the first match of the show, AJ Styles and Penta teamed up to battle Finn Balor and JD McDonagh who were accompanied by their Judgment Day stablemate Carlito, who, as expected, caused multiple interferences during the match.
In the final moments, JD distracted the official while Carlito intervened to stop Penta’s offense. Styles quickly took out Carlito, and JD responded with a suicide dive. Penta knocked McDonagh out of the picture with the Mexican Destroyer.
However, El Grande Americano appeared from the crowd, delivering a headbutt to Penta, likely using the metal plate in his mask. Balor seized the opportunity, pulling Penta into position for the Coup de Grace to pick up the win.

Cathy Kelley caught up with Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky, congratulating her on her victory last week and asking how she felt about the next challenger emerging from the Money in the Bank match.
Sky confidently stated that she wasn’t worried, but before she could elaborate, Becky Lynch walked in. Lynch reminded Sky that she had never been able to beat her, to which Sky quickly replied, “We’ll see about that.” Lynch fired back, declaring that she had already taken down one champion, and now she would take down another.
Logan Paul was on the phone, talking to someone, asking them to come as he nursed the effects of the recent superkick from Jey Uso. Seth Rollins walked in, and Paul immediately told him to leave him alone. Rollins, however, calmly approached him, stating that Jey Uso would get what was coming to him tonight for sticking his nose where it didn’t belong.
He warned Paul that whether Jey walked out of the arena or was wheeled out, he wouldn’t be 100% by Saturday. Rollins then suggested that if Paul could get past Jey and then defeat Gunther, he’d know exactly who to thank for helping him become World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins teased the idea of running their previous clash back, but this time, for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Roxanne Perez vs Natalya vs Becky Lynch – Women’s MITB Qualifying match
In the first of the two qualifying matches for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, Roxanne Perez, Becky Lynch, and Natalya clashed, the three women put on an amazing match, each of them pushing each other to the limits while refusing to quit themselves.
However, an outside interference from Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria, who pulled Lynch out of the ring after Becky landed the manhandle slam on Natalya. Valkyria and Lynch continued to brawl as Roxanne capitalized, turning a sharpshooter hold from Natalya into Pop Rox to pick up the win and join Alexa Bliss in the ladder match.

Jey Uso was in the locker room when Sami Zayn walked in, telling him that he didn’t need to worry about Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, or Paul Heyman. Zayn assured Jey that he’d take care of them on Saturday, and if the numbers game came into play tonight against Breakker, he’d be there to have his back. The two stars embraced before Zayn left the room.
Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri were in General Manager Adam Pearce’s office, where Pearce asked Tozawa if he was truly ready for a match with Rusev. Tozawa nodded confidently, prompting Pearce to make the match official for next week.
Chad Gable and Ivy Nile then walked in, warning Tozawa that he would need more than luck, as Rusev would do the same to him as he did to Gable. Tozawa, undeterred, took a step forward, while Dupri stepped in beside him, and the two left the office.
Pearce, still processing the situation, turned to Gable and asked what he wanted. Gable responded by asking when the Money in the Bank qualifying matches would be happening for him and Ivy Nile. Just then, The New Day walked in, much to Pearce’s irritation, as they hadn’t even bothered to knock.
Chad Gable and The New Day began discussing their upcoming World Tag Team Championship match against The Creed Brothers. The New Day made it clear that they didn’t want the War Raiders to win, and Pearce, clearly frustrated, told them to take the conversation “literally anywhere else.”
Sheamus vs Grayson Waller
In the first singles match of the show, ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus battled A-Town Down Under’s Grayson Waller. The match once again highlighted the growing rift between Waller and his teammate Austin Theory as Sheamus cleverly capitalized on their growing tensions.
Theory initially helped Waller to take control; however, when Sheamus refused to quit, Waller went to leave, but Theory stopped him from as the Celtic Warrior capitalized, landing the vicious shots on the ropes while Theory chuckled. Sheamus picked up the win against Waller after landing the brogue kick.

Cathy Kelley was backstage with Gunther, asking him about others targeting the World Heavyweight Championship and whether his plans had changed.
Before Gunther could answer, Seth Rollins appeared. He greeted Gunther, saying it had been a while, and complimented Gunther on the work he’d done with ‘his’ World Heavyweight Championship, calling it “great stuff.” Gunther responded, stating that for someone with such a visionary mind, Seth was surprisingly short-sighted, as he was the future around here.
Rollins, unphased, replied that he was there out of professional courtesy but warned Gunther that if he were to get the World title around his waist, he would make himself a target. Gunther fired back, saying he couldn’t wait and was eagerly looking forward to it before walking off.
Kairi Sane vs Zoey Stark vs Rhea Ripley – Women’s MITB Qualifiers
The second qualifiers for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match of the show began where Kairi Sane made her return after over four months of absence to battle Zoey Stark and Rhea Ripley. While the match started as usual, things took a bad turn as Stark landed awkwardly attempting a sniper missile drop kick.
Stark’s leg folded the wrong way during landing as she cried in pain; she was carried backstage by medical personnel. The match effectively became a singles clash between Sane and Ripley, where Rhea picked up the win after landing the Riptide and advancing to join Alexa Bliss and Roxanne Perez.

Rusev delivered a promo warning Akira Tozawa, expressing admiration for his courage and loyalty to his friends. However, he stated that Tozawa was delusional for challenging him, as he was simply trying to do what was best for him and fix him. Rusev embraced the challenge with open arms, adding that afterward, he would forgive Tozawa’s stupidity and forget his existence.
Finn Balor arrived in the Judgment Day’s clubhouse, exchanging pleasantries, but Raquel Rodriguez immediately objected to Roxanne Perez being there. Balor calmed everyone down, explaining that he and Perez had been talking for a few weeks and that he wanted to introduce her to the Judgment Day. He also mentioned that he had been considering what Dominik said about adding more members to the faction.
Balor pointed out that while Mysterio had him, JD, and Carlito watching his back, Liv and Raquel had no one, and Roxanne wasn’t officially a member, she is just helping out for now. Perez then revealed she had brought gifts, a gift box of chicken nuggets for Dominik and a bag of apples for Carlito. Raquel snapped, telling her to leave and that she would be telling Liv about this, but Finn replied that he couldn’t wait to hear it.
World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso vs Bron Breakker – non-title match
Jey Uso battled Bron Breakker in the main event of the show, following a backstage attack by Bron last week. Paul Heyman was ringside during the match and even caused interference while Jey was going for a suicide dive. While Jey went to confront Heyman, Seth Rollins came in and attacked him causing the disqualification.
Jey fought back in the ring, but Breakker quickly joined in, and the numbers game began to take over. Just as things seemed to be slipping away, Sami Zayn appeared rushing to even the odds. Zayn stepped onto the apron, catching the attention of Rollins and Breakker, but Zayn waited patiently as CM Punk’s music hit, and the Second City Saint made his entrance.
Punk and Zayn exchanged a look before stepping into the ring, and the crowd erupted, singing along to Punk’s theme. Sami and Punk quickly sent Rollins and Breakker crashing to the outside, and the brawl spilled ringside. Breakker regained control, taking down Punk before Punk responded with a dive off the barricade. The chaos continued as the fight spilled into the crowd, with the episode coming to a dramatic close.
Back in the ring, Jey stood as the official handed him the World Heavyweight title. But before he could celebrate, Logan Paul appeared, delivering a brutal blow that knocked out the champion for the fourth time.
