Los Blancos are one of the favourites going into the competition.
New Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has revealed the roster of players he will be travelling with to the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 this week. He began working with the club just this week.
Many youthful players from the academy and reserve ranks have been added to the roster by the 43-year-old Spanish coach, who succeeded Carlo Ancelotti. The injured players also appear to be planning to travel.
Naturally, the list includes Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen, the recent additions. Ferland Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga, and Endrick have also been called up by Alonso. But they are also unlikely to be available for selection because of injuries.
The team also includes players who have returned to training this week, including Brahim Diaz, Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, and David Alaba.
Regarding the young players, the manager has called up Sergio Mestre and Fran Gonzalez as backup goalkeepers.
In addition to midfielder Chema, there are also young defenders Yusi, Jacobo Ramon, Diego Aguado, and Jesus Fortea. The team also includes Mario Martin, who returned after his loan stint. The flight to North America will also include forwards Victor Munoz and Gonzalo Garcia.
It is already evident who Xabi Alonso is bringing to the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, as a number of elite European teams have already revealed their rosters in recent days.
In addition to the required stars, the former Bayer Leverkusen coach has picked a few young players, demonstrating his entire strength.
On June 18, Real Madrid will play their first match of the tournament against Al-Hilal. They are grouped with RB Salzburg and CF Pachuca.
